Nikolas Vaselopulos was born in Niskayuna, New York in 1987. He has lived in a variety of locations across the United States, including Aiken, South Carolina; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Cedar City, Utah, where he attended Southern Utah University. Nik served on the Judicial Council for SUU’s student government for three years, culminating in a one-year term as Chief Justice his senior year. He graduated summa cum laude in 2010.
He moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, shortly thereafter to enroll at the University of Tennessee College of Law. Nik received instruction from some of the best lawyers and professors Tennessee has to offer, and used this knowledge to excel academically, achieving the Dean’s List each semester. He graduated magna cum laude in May of 2013, and was elected by Class of 2013 as the student speaker at the graduation ceremony.
Nik received his license to practice law on November 4, 2013. He practiced in Knoxville before joining The Cave Law Firm in February of 2014. He was admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee on July 15, 2014.
