Firm History
Since 1974, our law firm has been offering legal services to the people of this region. Our founding partner, Robert Payne Cave Sr., continues to provide zealous advocacy in all areas of our practice. The addition of sons Jonathan and Duncan to the firm has allowed us to increase the number of clients we can serve while retaining our tradition of personal attention that characterizes a small law firm.
Clients
While most of our clients come to us from the small cities and counties of eastern Tennessee, we also represent people from out of the area, including out-of-state executors and drivers who were arrested for DUI while traveling through the region. We provide each client with dedicated service and aggressive representation, wherever they come from. We especially welcome Spanish-speaking clients; attorney Jonathan Sevier Cave is fluent in the language and focuses on assisting the Hispanic community.
Staff
In addition to our three lawyers, our firm is fortunate to have a support staff of three skilled legal assistants who manage cases in personal injury, bankruptcy and criminal defense with skill and attention to the human side of each case. Together with our attorneys, they are part of a remarkable legal team that is dedicated to obtaining the most favorable outcome possible for each client.
Locations
Our firm has two locations to serve clients. Both are easy to find; our Greeneville office is located close to the courthouse and across the street from President Andrew Johnson's tailor shop. The Tri-Cities office is located a few blocks from the center of downtown Kingsport, a few blocks from the courthouse on East Center Street.
